Malibu is a very tight community of more than 12,000 residents with more than 21 miles of Pacific shoreline. Malibu is about 30 minutes from the Santa Monica Airport, and less than an hour away from downtown Los Angeles and LAX.

Malibu's real estate market is a mix of beachfront homes and hilltop estates. There are a few condominiums and townhouses. Condominiums and townhouses begin in the high $400,000s. Single family homes begin in the mid-$700,000s. Of course Malibu has its share of estate properties which are priced from $1.5 million up to $25 million. Most homes in Malibu feature spectacular ocean or city light views.
