Placer County was home to the peaceful

The real estate markets of Auburn and Lake of the Pines are varied and
consist primarily of single-family detached homes. Home prices in
Auburn range from the high $200,000s for smaller single-family homes
to $1 million and more for hilltop estate properties with spectacular
views of the area. Many of these larger luxury homes are located on
sizeable treed lots and offer amenities such as spas, hot tubs,
swimming pools and water views and/or frontage. Many horse properties
are available. Condominiums and townhouses can be found in the low
$100,000s and run up to the mid-$300,000s. Lake of the Pines offers
newer homes and modern amenities along with gated security and
privacy. Prices for single-family homes range from the mid-$300,000s
to $800,000 and more. Large estate properties are priced at upwards of
